Valley Estate is right next to the Gold Coast and only a 10-minute drive from the airport – but you wouldn’t know it with the beach and hinterland right on the doorstep. So much care and thought has been put into make this venue magical and luxurious. When the owners designed it, they imagined a ‘landmark wedding and events destination’ and they achieved it. And it’s all exclusively yours for your wedding day – the manor, chapel, glasshouse and 9 acres of elegant grounds, manicured gardens, secluded spots and hidden trails. When I was there, I was particularly struck by the fantastic staff – Larissa, Michelle and Luke. They all went out of their way to make sure we were looked after (both as vendors and as guests). The team is a real family and they want you to love their place as much as they do.
This is just one of the four teaser trailers that Ellie and Carter received I always like to throw in something different and this was their first dance practice in the greenhouse
For our wedding we did extensive research on what was out there in terms of videographer. I found Phil’s video packages gave us way more memories of our special day. It was really important to have our creative team be full of people who were fun and approachable. We very much found that with Phil. He was so good at working perfectly with our timeline and always creating a comfortable environment. We trusted him completely to film whatever it was he needed. He captured our day in ways we didn’t even know possible. It’s so clear how much passion, time and effort he puts into making your videos reflect who you are as a couple
There isn’t any onsite accommodation, but the bride and groom can get ready for the wedding in lovely per-ceremony rooms:
– the Sanctuary Bridal Suite for the bride and her bridesmaids
– the Gentleman’s Retreat for the groom and his boys (complete with plush chesterfields, custom art and pool table!). So once you arrive in the morning, you don’t have to go anywhere. There is plenty of accommodation very close by in the Gold Coast/Currumbin area if you and your guests are staying on the coast.
Valley Estate provides several options for your ceremony, and all are as magical and elegant as you would hope. There is a stunning chapel and reception hall for indoor ceremonies. The romantic white chapel has oak finishes, lead glass windows and hinterland views. Alternatively, you can hold your ceremony anywhere on the grounds that captures your imagination, including under a magical 100-year-old fig tree and down on the jetty by the lake.
The Manor & Terrace is the only venue you need for a wedding reception. This red-bricked centerpiece of the property looks out over the opulent gardens. It’s very dramatic with its giant chandeliers, yet also has a chic industrial feel. Looking out over the Terrace make you feel like a rich estate owner. As you’d expect, the cuisine is amazing – to be expected from an executive chef with more than 20 years of experience on the Gold Coast. And they’re very flexible. You can create your own menu, from fine dining to live cooking
These ratings are based on my experience at the venue purely on photography and videography . I’m not rating the cost, staff, food or anything else that is beyond my control . For every wedding venue there are concessions you have to make so it suits your needs
