Yes, it’s located in a suburban area, but the options it offers are fantastic. With a little creativity, you can make the drone footage look absolutely spectacular

CEREMONY AREA

The ceremony under the tree is a solid 10/10 – it’s absolutely perfect. The only reason I’d give it a 9 overall is because the pavilion can be a bit tricky to shoot video in, especially when it comes to lighting

RECEPTION AREA

For me, Gabbinbar is hands down the best wedding venue in Southeast Queensland, and I’ve been to a lot of them. It truly has everything a couple could need – from breathtaking grounds and stunning drone footage opportunities to beautiful ceremony locations and a fantastic reception hall. One of the things that sets it apart is that the entire venue is wired with a single sound system, which is incredibly convenient for videographers. Even though it’s a two-hour drive from my studio, Gabbinbar is the one venue I always look forward to working at.
